After a decade of teaching the traditional method of Ashtanga Yoga, under the guidance of Lino Miele, we shifted our approach to the practice and now teach a more unorthodox version of the practice. We don’t follow any specific teaching but teach the practice the way we feel is beneficial to the practitioners.

A notable difference is that we now teach a modified intermediate series practice to all students, also beginner students. In our short-form practices, we skip poses, which is something traditionally not done.

Even with some of these non-traditional approaches, we respect the system built by Guruji and taught to us by Lino. In many ways, we still teach in a very traditional way. The practice is based on the breath, which we follow with the conscious movement. This simple method, when practiced regularly, balances the nervous system and focuses the mind.
